The mystery surrounding the tragic death of Nigerian singer Mohbad has taken a chilling new twist, as controversial online activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) drops bombshell allegations pointing fingers at Wunmi, Mohbad’s widow.
In a viral statement currently setting social media ablaze, VDM accuses Wunmi of potentially knowing more than she’s ever admitted — and possibly being the main source of misinformation following Mohbad’s sudden passing.
“One person or platform knows exactly how Mohbad died — and that’s Instablog,” VDM declared. “They were the first to say it was an ear infection. That narrative had to come from inside the house.”
VDM suggests the ‘ear infection’ story — which made headlines immediately after Mohbad’s death — may have come directly from Wunmi or Adura, another individual present at the time. Adding fuel to the fire, VDM noted that Wunmi updated her WhatsApp status just a day later, with Instablog reposting it, further suggesting her involvement in the “official” narrative.
But it doesn’t stop there.
“Wunmi later said ‘they took him away from me’… Who are the ‘they’? Nigerians were left confused, and Primeboy and Spending were detained for four months. Wunmi stayed silent the whole time.”
Now, Nigerians are demanding answers again, as this fresh wave of speculation reignites calls for justice. VDM accuses Wunmi of dodging interviews, refusing to clarify her statements during the coroner’s inquest, and going completely silent when it mattered most.
So, Could It Be True? With emotions high and fingers pointing in every direction, many are beginning to ask the hard question:
Could it be that Wunmi truly had a hand in Mohbad’s death?
As this shocking narrative unfolds, netizens are digging up old receipts — piecing together a puzzle that’s been buried under confusion, silence, and now… suspicion.
